Ocean Beach Park is a great location to enjoy the sun & sand with a great boardwalk that has a pool & mini golf, great place for the whole family to enjoy! Historical landmarks in New London include the Fort Trumbull State Park & Museum, a historic army site with trails & tours and the Custom House Maritime Museum, a Nautical history museum in a historic space. A great restaurant in New London is The Recovery Room, a casual restaurant serving great red & white pizzas as well as classic Italian entrees. Another popular dining spot is Ocean Pizza Restaurant and Seafood House, a long-running, homey restaurant serving 40+ different types of pizza & a variety of seafood.
